Summary

What is stored in your browser

Using the browser’s local storage (localStorage, not cookies) the site remembers your light or dark theme, language, time zone for the calendar and your scores in the simulator challenges. It never leaves your device and you can clear it from your browser settings.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes the IP address and technical details of each request to deliver the page and protect it from abuse, under its privacy policy.

Analytics

Pitwall uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to know how many visits it receives and which pages are read. It uses no cookies, does not track you across sites or build profiles, and the data is only seen in aggregate. More at Cloudflare Web Analytics.

In addition, to understand which features are helpful (search, head-to-head comparison, infographic formats or games), feature usage events are recorded anonymously through Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine. No IP addresses, names or user identifiers are stored, and no cookies are used.

Advertising

There are no ads right now. If they are switched on they will be Google AdSense ads: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland your consent will be asked first through a Google-certified platform, and this page will explain which data they use.

Your rights

Pitwall holds no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For data processed by Cloudflare or Google you can exercise your rights with them. For any question about this policy, contact us.

If this policy changes (for example, when analytics or ads are switched on), it will be updated here with its date.
