The conditions for using Pitwall and its content.

The service

Pitwall is a free Formula 1 statistics archive for information and entertainment. It is provided as is: care is taken over the accuracy of the data, but it may contain errors or omissions, especially in the most recent results, which the source may correct later. For decisions that depend on a figure (betting, publishing, etc.) check the official sources.

No affiliation and trade marks

Pitwall is an independent, unofficial project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Formula One World Championship Limited, Formula One Management, Formula One Licensing B.V., the FIA or any team. F1, FORMULA ONE, FORMULA 1, FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, GRAND PRIX and related marks are trade marks of Formula One Licensing B.V. Team, driver and circuit names are used only to identify them, and Pitwall does not use official logos.

Data and licences

The data comes from open sources with their own licences, listed in About Pitwall. If you reuse data from Pitwall, respect those licences: in particular, credit F1DB (CC BY 4.0), and note that OpenF1 data (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) may not be used commercially.

Pitwall content

Pitwall’s text, charts, design and code belong to its author. You may share the infographics you create with the site’s tool, including on social media, as long as the Pitwall mark they carry is not hidden.

Pitwall links to third-party sites it does not control and is not responsible for.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Pitwall is not liable for any damage arising from the use of the site or its data.

Changes

These terms may change; the version in force is always the one published on this page.
